Lake Minneola Scenic Trail/Clermont Trail Though these were actually constructed as separate trails, one is a direct continuation of the other along the same lake. This is a very pleasant, mostly urban trail, with higher hills than any other rail trail in Florida. Though they’re only on the east end, and don't really require very much effort, they can still produce some fast speeds on the downhills. The lake views on the western side are spectacular during sunsets and very pretty the rest of the time. Though subject to high winds during storms, this is a nice trail for all levels of riders and will become particularly attractive for long rides when connected to the West Orange Trail in the east and General James A. Van Fleet State Trail in the west. This is also one of the few trails with streetlights on most portions.Read More
